Sally Green makes all her beads using venetian glass rods, adding various effects with gold and silver leaf, silver wire and various crushed glasses [fritt]. This technique known as Lampwork uses an oxygen, propane torch to melt and manipulate the glass.
She found her love of glass in 2002 and has since continued to evolve and refine her technique. She has exhibited her work in galleries Australia wide, however most of her glass is in Melbourne where she currently resides... She works from her home studio in the Dandenong ranges east of Melbourne.
